Second largest town in the center of Lithuania, important economic center, home for the second international airport and a number of well-known museums. People come here to see museum of Lithuanian painter M.K. Ciurlionis, who decided to paint music in the beginning of the 20^th century, museum of Ch.Sugihara – Japanese ambassador who save more than 6000 Jews during the WWII, Pazaislis monastery – one of the best examples of Northern European Baroque style.
