The Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia) are three countries of Europe, with a long history and diverse culture of the regions they are composed of.  The Baltic States are located in the north-central part of Europe, on the eastern shore of the Baltic Sea. They all neighbour each other in the north-eastern corner of Europe and share their borders with Russia, Poland and Belarus. All three countries are currently members of the European Union and NATO.

Formed in 1918, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia remained independent republics until their involuntary incorporation into the USSR in 1940. These Baltic countries regained their independence in 1991. Even tough these three countries are so close geographically, they differ one from another quite much as well. Travellers can choose from many destinations to visit.

The Baltic Region is an attractive tourism area and a wonderful place for business meetings.
